God is not like us

Psalm 50:21: “When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you.“

Nobody has ever seen God. We cannot compare Him to anybody and anything. He is perfect, holy, loving and has nothing of evil in himself. We often fail to understand it. We want to imagine God and since we do not have anything to rely on we often see Him as we see ourselves. We haven’t seen a single perfectly good person and we might think that God isn’t either. We justify evil and we think that God will do the same. He won’t. His thoughts are not our thoughts. So better get adjusted to this if you do not want to be disappointed on that day.
