Be Strong in the Lord

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” Ephesians 6:10.

You know that every person can develop and strengthen himself in various aspects: physically, psychologically, intellectually, financially and etc. The Word of God encourages us to be strong in our Lord and to gain power which is not human, but spiritual. Achieving human goals is alright, but you will never be able to fulfill your calling from God if you rely on human strength, wisdom and talent. You will need inspiration from the Holy Spirit, His comfort and might during hardships and the grace of the God in your spiritual battles, which will be plenty.

Be strong in the Lord

Ephesians 6:10: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Apostle Paul encourages us to be strong. But how? Do we have to be strong in ourselves with our own human strength? No, he says that we have to be strong in Him. How do we do that? By being in his mighty power.  How is that possible? His word is full of his power. You stay in His word and you stay in his power. These two are synonyms. Of course, if you read the word casually and do not pay attention to the real meaning behind the words you will probably not experience that strength. However, if you meditate on what you have read you will know that power.
