"And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly" Luke 18:6-8.
God wants us to be consistent in prayer and never give up. Jesus showed us how persistence gets things done. A persistent widow made a godless judge to defend her. She just wouldn't give up. The judge didn't care about anything. He solved cases as he pleased. He didn't care about the lady. And even that type of person gave in to the persistence of the widow. Eventually, he defended her.
Will not God answer your prayers if you don't give up? He is a loving Daddy. He cares about you. He wants to help you and answer your prayers. Why would He not answer? I know we all get tired of delayed answers and tend to give up. But a believer shouldn't do that. Faith never gives up. Let's not give up praying. Whatever your need is, God cares. He cares about the birds, so much more about you. Let's stay persistent, and keep on praying.

Bible verse of the day 14
Here are two verses for the day Genesis 20:17-18:” Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelek, his wife and his female slaves so they could have children again, 18 for the LORD had kept all the women in Abimelek’s household from conceiving because of Abraham’s wife Sarah.
This extract teaches us two important things: God protects his people and He answers their prayers. I know that there sometimes happen disasters and people ask why this and this happened to those who were faithful to God. I do not know. I do not see the big picture all the time. I do know that God loves us and nothing happens without His knowledge. He protects us and even if we die, we go to Him.
He also answers our prayers. Pray to Him if you have any needs and you will get what you need. In this case, Abraham prayed for healing of others, even though his own wife could not conceive. God answered his prayer and after a few years gave Abraham a child too.
Praise God. Do not lose hope. He listens and answers your prayers.
