"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" Romans 8:1.
Sin brings about condemnation for a conscience. When we were without Christ, that was rightfully on us. We were condemned and most of us felt condemned. Some felt it more, some less. However, we have really great news. Christ took our condemnation on himself. When He hung on the cross, the judgment of God and condemnation for the sins of the entire world fell on him. He took it, so that you and I would never have to experience that again.
If you believe in Christ, you are in Him, and no condemnation belongs to you. You were freed from that on the cross. What a great gift God has given to us in Jesus. He no longer condemns us. He punished sin once and for all in Christ Jesus. You sins were on Him. He cannot punish the same sin twice, otherwise He would not be a just God. But He is a just God, and our condemnation fell on Jesus. So, no more condemnation for us. That is really a good news for us.
Bible verse of the day will provide you with a verse from the book on a daily basis. I believe you will be blessed by reading encouraging and inspirational Bible verses. May God be with you.

No condemnation in Christ
Romans
8:1: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ
Jesus”.
Everybody has sinned. There is not
a single person and there have never been one who hasn’t sin. Exception would
be only Jesus. He hasn’t committed a single sin. However, all the rest of us
have. And the Bible clearly says that the reward for sin is death. Bad news
huh? Well, that is the truth. God is righteous and just. He cannot tolerate
sin. So, does that mean we all be punished? No, God made a plan how to shift
that punishment to somebody else. How is
that?
On the one hand, as God is
righteous He had to punish sin. Somebody had to die. But who? The only one who
could really take that punishment had to be someone who had never sinned. There
wasn’t anybody who could qualify for that as everybody sinned. Therefore, a
sinless God (Jesus) had to become a man and die as a sinner (without being one)
and take all the wrath of God for our sins. He did that by dying on the cross.
He took all the condemnation. Sin was condemned in Christ and therefore we are
no longer condemned by God for our sins. Why? Because, Christ bore that
punishment for us.
Isn’t it a great reason to rejoice?
It is. God does not condemn you. He justified you in his Son and adopted you to
become a child of God. God does not condemn his children. Praise him for his
wonderful salvation. You can be free from your feeling of guild and
condemnation today, because God does not condemn you. He loves you and if you
have been reconciled to Him you can come to him without fear and shame. You are
his son/daughter. Run to your Father.
