He hears desires of the humble

Psalm 10:17-18:  “Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.”

Looking at what happens in the world one might get the impression that only the ungodly get what they want. By using all available tool (sinful included) they seem to get results faster and outrun the righteous that try to do everything according to their faith principles and conscience. However, the path of the righteous will always bring him to success and the path of the wicked will end up in failure, unhappiness and destruction. Humility will eventually be rewarded.
