Psalm 9:20: “Strike
them with terror, Lord; let the nations know they are only mortal.”
Pride blinds us. How does a person stricken with
pride look like? He lives as if he would never die and as if God does not
exist. Fortunately, Lord has measures to terrify us and sober us up. I do not
want to scare anybody. Lord knows when to use this strategy for stopping a
person from leaving this earth in sin and going to eternal damnation. In most
cases he shows his eternal love. In some cases, (if love does not work) He
might show his justice and righteousness. Let us choose love.
