Psalm 14:1: “The fool says
in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds
are vile; there is no one who does good.”
Here
you have a definition of a fool. The psalmist says that those who do not
believe in God are fools. Sounds rather offensive! Maybe, but it is also true. Unfortunately,
the truth can sometimes be very harsh and painful. It is better to wake up to
it or you will remain fool for the rest of your life. People often think that
they can be good in and out of themselves and they are wrong about it too. The
verse says that no who does good. You need to connect to the source of goodness
in order to become good.
