"Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them” John 7:38.
A lot of wonderful things happen when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead. One of them was that God gave His Holy Spirit to everyone who believes in Jesus. When you repent of your sins and believe in God's forgiveness, you receive the Holy Ghost. Furthermore, baptism in the Spirit is God's plan for every Christian. The rivers of living water is the Holy Spirit living inside of you.
Without the Spirit we are powerless against the powers of darkness. We need the Spirit for guidance, revelation and the gifts that enable us to evangelize the world and help those who are in need every day. If you haven't been baptized in the Spirit, ask God to give you this gift as it is one of the most precious gifts you can receive. Your life will be transformed. You won't recognize yourself. You will start understanding better the Scriptures, the will of God and how you can handle this or that situation. The Spirit will make you a better servant of God. Ask to be filled with the Spirit.

One true God
"Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior" Isaiah 43:10-11.
There are a lot of religions. Each person believes something. He/she may actually have a religion of his own, so to speak. Since the fall in the garden of Eden, people tried to regain what was lost. They search for God, but they do not know Him. There is eternity, a yarn for something greater than us living inside of us. Yet, people stumble and continue walking in darkness, creating their own gods who cannot help in anyway.
God is alive and He proves His power to us if we dare to believe Him and seek Him with all of our hearts. He is our true Savior and Deliverer. We can rely on His mighty hand and see His power in action in our daily lives. Let's give Him praise. He is worthy to be praised for what He has done to us. If you haven't seen His works in your life, test Him, pray to Him, open your heart to Him and He will answer you. Then, you will praise Him too.

God protects you
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze" Isaiah 43:2.
It does not matter what circumstances surround you, God protects you. You may not see it, you may not feel it, He is still with you in your situation and He has the best way out of it. You do not see what is ahead, He does. Therefore, He knows the best solution. Trust Him. The fact that you are in really unfavorable situation(s) does not change the fact that God is with you.
Remember what kind of circumstances were the prophets in the Old Testament. A certain death was waiting for them, yet God led them out of those circumstances as conquerors. He was their God, and He is your God. Trust that He will lead you out of your troubles and give you victory. He will! Do not doubt it.

The magnitude of Jesus' forgiveness
34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” Luke 23:34.
These words came out of Jesus lips right before his death. He was persecuted, slandered, arrested, beaten, spat on, hung on the cross, ridiculed on the cross, and after all these things He asked God to forgive those evil people their sins. WOW! Can there be greater forgiveness than that? Nope. God Himself was humiliated, beaten and rejected. Yet, He decided to forgive. Amazing love!
We all are sinners. We do not deserve forgiveness. But He gave it to us all for free. He does not hold a grudge against us. He forgave. He does not remember your sins anymore. His love for you is everlasting. Accept His forgiveness. Embrace His love. God is good for you. Your sins are forgiven. Your Savior died for you on the cross. Receive His forgiveness and be free from your sins.

God is your Father
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If
you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your
children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7:9-11.
Most parents love their children. They care about them, fight for them and try to provide for them so that they may have the best future possible. There are some who are really bad examples of fathers and mothers, and if you have one of the kind I am really sorry for you.
However, I have good news for you, even the best parents cannot stand the chance of being as good as our God the Father is. Everybody, even the best parents have fallen nature living inside them. Jesus said that all of us are evil by nature. God is everlastingly good by nature. So, if we can do something good for our kids, how much more will the good God do good for us. He is the eternal Father. He is your Father. And He is GOOD FOR YOU! Rejoice. You are loved.

You are Mine
"But now, this is what the Lord says— He who created you, Jacob, He who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are Mine" Isaiah 43:1.
Life is fragile. You never know what may happen today or tomorrow. People get sick, face unfavorable conditions and even die. If you look at all of this, you might feel hopeless and lose purpose. Most people do. They cannot see beyond life on this earth. They think everything ends with this life. It doesn't. Life continues. If you gave your life to Christ, you belong to Him. You are His 'property'. He loves you and cares about your life. If you believe it, you have purpose, hope and courage to go on under any circumstances that may arise in your life.
Always remember, you are His. He is holding you firmly in His hands and will not let you go. Property may sound offensive for some people, but that is figurative expression. He redeemed you, changed your nature and He is your Father now. Praise God! Never give up. He knows your name and every detail about your life and leads you lovingly through this life till you eventually join Him on the other side of eternity. Live with joy, because you have the greatest hope the world has ever seen. God bless!
