15 Inspirational Bible verses for everyone



As Bible gives me inspiration every day I tend to believe that it can give encouragement for everyone. Therefore, I decided to select 20 inspirational Bible verses that would be beneficial for everyone. All of us face a lot of trials in this life and what (or rather Who?) can lift us up. I find my source of energy in the Book.

Hebrews 13:5: “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Trusting God for financial provision is a test for most of us. We think that if we do not worry, nobody will worry on our behalf. Leave your worry to God and see how that works. 

Hebrews 12:2: “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

People of this world have their role models. They follow stars, politicians, sportsmen and sportswomen, writers, heroes and etc. Christians have their hero too. It’s Jesus. Let us not turn our eyes off Him. 

Isaiah 53:5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

Jesus took our punishment and we got all the benefits. Praise God for his awesome redemption. 

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

If you do not feel loved by those around trust that you are loved by the One who is above. He gave the most precious away so that you could be saved. 

John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

If you ever doubt intentions of your God remember this verse. It also reminds us of the intentions of the devil.
Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Where is our strength? That’s right, it is in the Lord. 

Philippians 4:19: And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Not only our financial needs are met, but ALL of them. Aren’t you happy about it? I am. 

Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

We often fix our eyes on current visible reality and lose sight of God’s plans, or simply start doubting them. Let us do the other way round. Let us lose sight of our current problems, trials, losses and fix our eyes on His plans for us. 

James 1:12: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

There are not short cuts to the promotion by God. Passing a test is the only way to get A(+) from God. 

1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Do not hide your spiritual dirt from Him. He sees it anyway. And the best part is that He forgives it ALL!

Isaiah 40:31: “…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Not only bodies, but also souls get tired. For a countless number of reasons! Whatever reason you have there is one way you can regain your spiritual strength and that is by waiting upon the Lord. Wait for Him to help and you will not be disappointed. 

Matthew 6:33: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Isn’t it a good way to start your day? By a little prayer and some Bible reading! Then go on to what you are supposed to do (job, kids, business and etc.). 

2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

If you are born again, you have new nature. God has put his life inside of you. Satan is no longer your father. God is your Father! And you are His child. 

Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,…

That is nature of God. He always gives more than we ask. Praise him for his generosity. 

Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Very positive note to finish with! You and I have nothing to be afraid of. God’s love is the strongest power of this earth and it is working on our behalf. Let us stay in it.
