Psalm 30:5: “For his
anger lasts
only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may
stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
There is anger of God that comes as a punishment for
sin. However, the Bible has some good news for us. His anger is very short. The
word of God has even more good news and that is: Jesus took God’s wrath upon
himself. So, if you sinned yesterday and repented of your sin you can be sure
that you can rejoice with a guilt free heart today. Thank Him for his everlasting
mercy.
