Some trust in chariots and horses

Psalm 20:7-8: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

People need strong foundation under their feet. They are searching for security. They want some power to protect them. Some of the best know foundations in the world are: money, friends, family, influential people, belonging to some powerful groups, parties, house, operational business and etc. Where is God? He is very often not even in the list. Most Christians have Him in. But very few as number one resource! And even fewer have Him as number one and the only one resource. Well, I better say foundation, because there is nothing wrong with having lots of helpful resources. The point is where do you place your trust? Is it a reliable thing? Is he/she a reliable person? I do not know a human being that would not disappoint you at some point. Will God do that at any point? No, never.
