Bible verse of the day 5

Let us read together Genesis 5: 24:” Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away“ (NIV). There might be some misunderstanding as to what exactly happened to Ehoch in this situation. A few things are clear: he walked with God and he pleased God. This may lead us to think that God did not do anything bad to Enoch. On the contrary, the thing that happened here could be the best that ever happened to human being. What is that?

Enoch did not die. God took him to paradise. He was the first out of two people that were alive taken to heaven. The second was Elijah. This excerpt might be an allusion to what will probably happen to the church of Christ when He comes back to take her. The body of Christ (the people that believe in Jesus as their Lord) the day when Jesus comes back will never die, but will be taken alive to Heaven. It may sound as a fairy tale for you, but I will not try to prove it. It is just what the Bible says and I believe it. If I come to live to see that day I hope to be taken alive to meet my Lord in the clouds. So much for today! May God bless you tremendously this week.
