Bible has
a lot to say about divorce, adultery and remarriage. However, these topics are
mostly misunderstood by a lot of Christians, particularly if you do not look at
these things in the light of New Testament and Redemption. On the one hand, we
have a lot of warning verses regarding divorce, adultery and remarriage. On the
other, we see God’s unfailing love and forgiveness for those who repent after
sinning. Take as an example the story of David and Bathsheba. Do not forget
that it was the Old Testament. God would accept repentance back then too. So
much more we can trust in his forgiveness now. Look at Jesus who forgives the
lady that was brought to him by Pharisees. He forgave. He also made it clear
that all of us have sinned one way or another. So, if you have sinned, go to
Jesus and tell him about it. Repent and you will be forgiven. Praise God for his
mercy. God bless you.

first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus
straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned
you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
20. Romans
13:9
„The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
