Let us look today at Genesis 26:24:”
That night the Lord
appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be
afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of
your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”
I want you to see that God
is the God of the living, not of the dead. We are eternal beings and if you
have put your trust in Jesus you are going to live with Him forever. You will
never die spiritually, nor be separated from Him. Your life will continue on
the other side of eternity. And God will be your God then as He is your God
now.
God is searching for people
whom He can communicate with on a daily basis. And He finds somebody in each
generation. He actually finds a lot of people who respond to His invitation.
Will you be one of them? You are not too bad or too good for that. He makes you
acceptable by means of His Son sacrifice on the cross. So come to His throne of
grace and accept His friendship. God bless you!
