Lord my shield and glory

Psalm 3:3: “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

Every gets some spiritual darts from the enemy. Who can protect you? The psalmist says that the Lord is his shield. It means he is fully protected against all attacks of the enemy. All of us need something or somebody to be proud of. People brag about their jobs, money, achievements and etc. The psalmist says that the Lord is his glory. He is proud of his God. What/Who do you pride yourself in? Is it God or yourself? If it is yourself, do not forget that you do not have anything that you have not been given. Even if you earned it, you used the talents that have been given by God. So, whom do you give glory?
