Psalm 16:11: “You make
known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Non Christians often tell Christians that they do
not want to get converted, because that would mean losing all pleasures in
life. All humans need to experience pleasure. But what kind of pleasure do you
want? Is it some ‘carnal’ sensual pleasure that satisfies your body and has no
benefit to your spirit? Or is it something that gives satisfaction to your
whole being, starting with your spiritual man? God has eternal pleasures
prepared for us both in the life to come and in this one too. Are you willing
to search for those?
