Psalm 17:15: “As for
me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will
be satisfied with seeing your likeness.”
I
continue the topic that I started yesterday and it is about satisfaction. Where
do we find it? Where does the psalmist find it? He finds it in the Lord. Of
course, he does not see Him with his physical eyes, but with spiritual ones. He
longs for his God and admires His beauty. This kind of attitude changes us in
the very same likeness and image of our God. We become like Him. And in the
process, we also find satisfaction.
