Psalm 33:16-17: “No king
is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great
strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot
save.”
Human
strength is rather limited. And it can achieve great things only because we are
created in the image of God and have a breath of God inside us. However, if we
forget and neglect our creator and think that we can do on our own and we are
great of ourselves we do stumble. It is possible that at the end of the road we
will not even have time to stop, think and repent of our wicked ways. Let us
humble ourselves and give all glory to the One who made us and shaped us and
imparted his life inside of us.
