“…But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from
God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption…” 1 Corinthians 1:30.
In
essence, Christ is everything for us Christians. We have a completely different
value system from that of this world. What is wise for the world is foolish for
us and vice versa. Humans tend to see themselves righteous in their own eyes.
We accept only that kind of righteousness that comes from God. Only His blood
can sanctify us and only His sacrifice on the cross could redeem us from
eternal damnation. Jesus is ultimately the center of division between the world
and the church. Those that choose Him will inherit the Kingdom of God.
