“And I, brethren, when I
came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to
you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you
except Jesus Christ and Him crucified” 1 Corinthians 2:1-2.
If you think that the gospel
has to be preached in some sophisticated and very advanced way you are
mistaken. It is not the way that is important, but the content. And what is
that content? All the good news is about Jesus. He is the message! You cannot
expect that refined academic language or even advanced oratorical speech will
make listeners to give their hearts to Jesus. No chance! It is the power of God
that does the work through simple way of preaching Jesus Christ that does the
job.
