Adam's disobedience and Jesus' obedience

"For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous" Romans 5:19

We didn't do anything to become sinners, and we didn't really do anything to become righteous before God. One act of disobedience by Adam caused generations of people and every single individual to be born into this world with the original sin. We were doomed against our choice to be born into slavery to sin. This is what one act of Adam caused. We all suffered under sin. However, God loved us so much that He had a plan to change the situation.

He sent His son Jesus and his obedience to God, and His deliberate sacrifice on the cross makes every one who believes in Jesus righteous in the eyes of God. You cannot do anything to please God, or become acceptable in His eyes. No, everything has been done for you. Jesus did it for you. Just accept His grace by believing His sacrifice and you are transformed out of a sinner into a righteous person.
