scary Bible verses and quotes about hell and its’ fire
I know that few people, as well as preachers want to talk
about hell. There are a lot of theories regarding the place and what happens
there. However, one thing is sure, Bible talks about it and we must listen and
take seriously warnings that were mostly by Jesus about this place of
suffering. I know the topic may not inspire you to serve God, but it will also
remind us that God is righteous and holy and we’d better take his word
seriously. I hope this message does not distort the image of God. There are
many more comforting and encouraging Bible verses than scary ones. Take heart!
1. Matthew 5:22
„But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be
subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is
answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of
the fire of hell.“
2. Matthew 5:29
„If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is
better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be
